The assorted finds of Artefact Publishing
I have been neglecting this blog recently, but not IPA Zounds, despite the lack of a new release. The new GUI is much better than the old one (except for those not running GNOME, in which case the non-native file dialogs/widgets may prove off-putting), the transformation process is somewhat optimised, and there is support for homorganic variables. Oh, and I’ve made a bunch of bug fixes. I am now at the point of writing documentation, and am mostly waiting for tester feedback before making a release.
Equally exciting is that today a user told me that he had modified the binary features model in order to get the program to behave the way he wanted it to. This is gratifying, since I had wondered whether anyone would bother even trying to delve into the guts of the program to that extent (it’s not really code, but it’s not a preferences file either).
